Privacy Policy

Draft for review. This is placeholder wording to be finalised with a UK solicitor before launch — it isn't legal advice.

This policy explains what AudiMusic collects when you use the directory, why, and the rights you have. AudiMusic is a UK service and processes personal data under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

  • Account: your email and display name.
  • Activity: stations you favourite and your recently-played history.
  • Technical: minimal, privacy-friendly analytics that don't identify you.

Why, and our lawful basis

We process account and activity data to provide the service you asked for (the contract for your account). Any marketing would rely on separate, opt-in consent.

Who we share it with

Service providers that make the product work: our hosting/database provider, and Google/Facebook only if you choose to sign in with them. We don't sell your data.

Retention & your rights

You can export your data or delete your account at any time from the Account page, which permanently removes your profile, favourites and history. You can also contact us to access, correct, or restrict processing, and you may complain to the ICO.
